In the definition of carpets " to machine " all
the carpets produced with mechanical chassis re-enter. The
fabrication techniques vary, following the development of the woven
carpet that since XVIII the century enters in decided competition with
that one knotted by hand and stretches to sostituirlo; also the
machines endured an evolution, than from the simple chassis door to
the annodatrice machine, than fixed with Turkish node to woven of base
the pezzetti of the hair already prepared; and finally to the
invention of the mechanical chassis, in the first years of the 1800's.
While with the generalized industry the machine carpets are
disseminated in all Europe, more and more perfezionandosi, the types
and the designs remain those traditional ones, limited nearly always
from the imitation or to the copy of the models orientals. In period
much recent one only appears, although isolated and sporadic, carpets
realized with contemporary modern taste and designs.
